Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck E (Extreme) is true to its name: it's right at home in the harshest and most demanding extreme conditions. Custom-designed for the Nordic environment, it combines outstanding grip with excellent wear resistance.

Innovative tread design

The tread design features more than 1,100 efficient transverse sipes, forming a dense network that helps to maximise grip. The aggressive, arrow-shaped tread design and the sharp front edges in the tread blocks enhance traction and braking grip, increasing the grip on icy roads and in snow.

Hard-wearing on rough roads

Hakkapeliitta Truck E has superb wear resistance. This was achieved by using a new type of rubber compound specially designed for the Nordic conditions. The outer rubber layer ensures excellent winter properties: the tread holds its grip in changing conditions. Meanwhile, the lower rubber layer reduces heat build-up, decreasing rolling resistance.

Precise and quiet

Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck E delivers a sharp and precise driving response. The sturdy tyre structure with staggered, sequential tread blocks and pronounced arrow pattern ensure high driving stability. The staggered tread block placement also reduces tyre noise.

Safety indicators

Hakkapeliitta Truck E features Winter Safety Indicator (WSI), which indicates when the best grip is available in harsh winter conditions, on icy road, in deep snow or wet slush. The Driving Safety Indicator (DSI) indicates groove depth. The numbers stamped on the tread show the remaining groove depth in millimetres. The numbers fade, one at a time, as the tyre wears down.

Economical and environmentally responsible

The Nokian Hakkapeliitta Truck E is economical and environmentally friendly. The tyre rolls lightly, which reduces fuel costs. The wear-resistant multipurpose tyre is manufactured without any high aromatic oils that are classified as harmful and stressful to the environment.
