Safety cage

The safety cage is a security element needed in pressurising tyres. It helps minimise the consequences of tyre explosion. Should a tyre explode, the cage's protective nets catch the projectile tyre and rim fragments.

However, you must bear in mind that the pressurised air can flow through the net almost freely. Therefore, you must avoid passage on the side of the safety cage, and the use of ear protectors is recommended.
Inflation to the operating pressure must always be carried out in a safety cage.
