- Particularly in situations where tracks cannot or may not be used, it is wise to select a tyre with a high-profile, open tread pattern. This provides the tyre with the necessary grip and better cleaning properties. Low, more dense tread patterns are mainly designed for track use. The machine manufacturers' tyre pressure recommendations should always be observed, for financial reasons alone. In this way the tyres last longer.
